Now back to the question - how dependable or reliable is the Spyder Victor when taken out to the paintball field? Very dependable I must say! I need to point out that this is one of the best paintball markers out there especially if you are a starting player or if you're more of a woods ball or scenario paintball player and you steer from speed ball.
When you grab a Spyder Victor, you have durability, ease of use, and ease of maintenance packed in one high quality marker. You can even upgrade it to max. However, just like other low-end Spyder markers, I think getting a new barrel is a must. It's not that bad, but who wants to settle for second best when you can have a better marker for just a couple of dollars?
Also, if you love playing in cold weather, then you should grab an x-chamber as well as a vertical adapter.
Another nice thing about this marker is that you can easily upgrade it to your liking. I beefed up my Spyder Victor with a low pressure upgrade, a Mako Storm Frame, Turbo Valve, as well as halo shooting that gives 18+ BPS when set in full auto mode. And that has tournament precision by the way!
If you're still renting a paintball marker, then by all means grab a Spyder Victor! It will not disappoint you even at its stock condition. At the price that the Victor comes, this is absolutely a bargain!
