Dye DM9

Any serious paintball player, who is in search for an excellent paintball marker that will serve him for the years to come, sure has taken a close look at Dye's markers, especially the DM series. This series of markers are one of the easiest to use and maintain, lightest, smallest, and most accurate you could ever lay your hands on.
That's especially true for Dye DM9...and it comes with a handful of improvements you'll surely love.
First impressions first - I love the fact that it takes very little space in your paintball gear bag. It comes with a gun case that excellently protects your manuals, barrels, kits, barrel condom, and everything in between. That's exactly what I need! After all, you don't want your $1350 to go to waste just because it got crushed by the other stuff in your bag.
As expected, the Dye DM9 is very light. An improvement that I loved the removal of the front on/off switch. Many paintball players complained about this...including me! This alone gave the marker a shorter body and better balance. There are a couple of more options and I won't be outlining them here! You better check them out and I'm sure you'll love it.
The Dye DM9 shoots great in semi automatic and ramping mode. Not to mention you can adjust the trigger in different ways to suit your game. All you have to do is set the activation point as well as the trigger stop, and VIOLA! You can adjust it all the way to the front or back of the Dye DM9 frame. I'd bet that it only takes time before this innovation is imitated by every paintball marker manufacturer all over the globe.
When it comes to air efficiency, I must say that this surpasses the Dye DM8, which I also love. It has 6 pods along with a hopper at 3000 psi. Aside from that, the new ball detents are a breeze to clean and maintain...as well as change if the need arises. I think it's great that the brains and engineers behind the Dye DM9 go rid of the magnetic ball detents that you'll find in previous markers in the DM series.
