Dye DM8

Professional paintball players, designers, and engineers - these brains all worked together to come up with what was known as one of the best paintball markers in the Dye DM series back in 2008 - the Dye DM8.
Just like its predecessors, Dye DM8 is built to continue the reign of the lightest, smallest, fastest, and of course, the most accurate paintball markers you'll ever find in the market. This is equipped with the patented Eye Pipe Anti-Chop Sensing System. What does this do? Simple - it eliminates the need for eye plates and has dramatically reduced the marker's body width. With that in mind, it comes with a weight that's 1.5 oz less than the Dye DM7.
If you loved the LPR improvements made on Dye DM7, then you'll definitely love the ne Micro LPR that comes with Dye DM8. This results to steadier and more efficient shots.
As any paintball player knows, the lighter and smaller your marker is, the better!
My first impression with this marker? I must say its gorgeous! You're blind if you can't notice it at your chosen paintball gears store. The moment I held it, I fell in love with it even more. It was like holding a feather.
However, what made the Dye DM8 more impressive in my opinion is its performance in the field. I immediately got used to it. Dye DM8's ultra-lite framing is, hands down, amazing! Very easy to adjust and smooth. I think the self-cleaning eye is another BIG bonus that paintball enthusiasts will surely love.
â??All nice heh, but what about the maintenance?â? you may ask.
In my opinion, Dye DM8 deserves a 10 in the maintenance department. It couldn't be easier. I experienced no pain, no difficulty whatsoever when it comes to cleaning the eyes. As for lubing the bolt and disassembling it after the game, it's so easy and can be done very quickly...I don't even need the manual for it.
All you have to do is take down the bolt. Then, lube it and wipe it clean.
